Confidence & Self-Esteem
Creating achievable challenges and opportunities for children to experience success.
Golfstars Schools brings golf directly into the school environment through progressive extra-curricular programmes, targeted interventions and engaging golf experiences designed to give every child the opportunity to discover the game.
Whether a child is picking up a club for the very first time or already showing a passion for the sport, our programmes provide a positive introduction with a clear route to progress, compete and continue their journey beyond the school gates.
Golf has historically been perceived as inaccessible because of cost, facilities and lack of exposure within schools. Golfstars exists to challenge that perception — introducing golf in a familiar school environment, with no prior experience or equipment needed, through a non-competitive, confidence-building entry point.
Our school provision has been designed to create a genuine progressive journey, rather than a series of standalone coaching sessions. Children develop their golf skills through fun, age-appropriate challenges and games, while also building confidence, resilience, focus, teamwork and an understanding of the game.
At the heart of our extra-curricular programme is the Golfstars School Passport. Throughout their journey, children work towards progressive challenges and achievements — giving them something to aim for and a real sense of progression from one block to the next.
The Passport helps children track their journey, celebrate milestones and unlock the next stage of their Golfstars experience. We keep the full programme, challenges and progression framework exclusively for our partner schools — but there's plenty for your pupils to discover!

Golfstars can deliver before-school, lunchtime or after-school provision, creating an exciting alternative to traditional school sports. Across the school year, children progress through six exciting Golfstars Missions:
Mission 1
Mission 2
Mission 3
Mission 4
Mission 5
Mission 6
Each half-term brings a new Mission, with different games, challenges and skills. Children work towards their Skill Star, Challenge Star, Personal Best Star and Golfstar Star alongside our weekly Star Shot Challenge — with recognition at the end of every Mission before moving to the next stage.
Children can join at any point during the school year — each Mission works as its own exciting experience, so nobody is disadvantaged if they haven't completed an earlier one.
Six Missions. One journey. Become a Golfstar.
Our equipment and session formats transform school halls, playgrounds and playing fields into engaging golf environments — schools don't need their own golf facilities or specialist equipment to get started.
Golf can provide a very different environment for children who may not always engage with traditional team sports. Golfstars works with schools to develop targeted programmes supporting:
Creating achievable challenges and opportunities for children to experience success.
Adaptable, supportive sessions designed around the needs of individual pupils.
Using the challenges of golf to encourage patience, perseverance and positive responses to setbacks.
Providing a calmer sporting environment where children can develop concentration, self-regulation and confidence.
Creating welcoming opportunities designed to introduce and engage more girls in golf and physical activity.
Programmes can be shaped around the priorities and needs of your pupils.
Through our partnerships with local golf clubs, Golfstars provides exciting inter-school golf competitions and inclusive festivals where children can represent their school, develop new skills and experience on-course golf in a supportive environment.
Designed for children of all abilities, our events focus on participation, enjoyment and personal achievement — while creating meaningful links between schools and the local golf community.

One of the biggest differences with Golfstars Schools is our ability to connect a child's first experience of golf at school with genuine opportunities to continue playing locally. Our aim is to become the bridge between school and community golf.
Through direct links with our community Golfstars centres at Chadwell Springs Family Golf Centre, Ware and Cheshunt Park Golf Centre, Cheshunt, pupils can access community coaching, golf centre experiences, events, competitions and continued development outside of school.
From their first swing in the school playground to playing at their local golf facility, we're creating a connected pathway that makes golf more accessible — and gives every child the opportunity to see where the game could take them.
One of the few sports that supports both physical development and character education. Golf develops:
You don't need to commit to a full programme to experience Golfstars. Arrange a FREE Golfstars Taster Session and give pupils and staff the chance to experience our coaching approach before discussing what provision could work best for your school.
