Roger Shutt must be the most entertaining character ever to present the rules of etiquette to a group of ‘club golfers’. He appeals to all ages and ability and leaves them with positive and valuable thoughts. Roger has delivered his etiquette ‘show’ on several occasions at both new junior members evenings and also to mixed groups of adult members. Very enjoyable and very important! His etiquette test should be compulsory for all new juniors.

The presentation on the Rules, by Ian Wrigley (Rules Referee/ Golf Professional) and Etiquette of Golf, by Roger Shutt (Golf Professional) was a great success.
Roger’s presentation based on his book and posters and Ian’s light hearted presentation, made what can be a dull subject into a fun and memorable one.
All the ladies (55) agreed that it was a great way to start the season.

Many thanks for your presentation and also for extending your allotted time in order to fill the void. Etiquette is probably one of the last things Managers/Secretaries consider in the whole scheme of things and it was a good timely reminder that we are a Golf Club and we need to put Golf at the forefront a little more often. The cartoon images were excellent and good luck with your venture.

In 2009 the Lee Westwood Golf Academy was delighted to be supported by Roger Shutt and his Golf Etiquette Handbooks. Every child attending an Academy received one of Roger's handbooks which they all found extremely useful and interesting. On top of this Roger himself made an Etiquette presentation at a number of the Academies. These presentations went down excellently and proved to be an very useful way for our young golfers to understand the importance of golf etiquette. Often in today's coaching to young golfers important messages relating to matters such as etiquette are lost and it is refreshing to see Roger finding an innovative and fun way to keep etiquette as an important part of golf tuition. We are very much looking forward to working with Roger again in 2010 and onwards.

The evening presentation by Roger Shutt at Leyland Golf Club.
The presentation evening on 18th Feb 2010 was a great success. We had 28 juniors and 30 parents present. Roger set the tone with his preparation and display. The atmosphere was very casual and relaxed,
All the information was full of humour and little quips that tend to be remembered.
The booklet was given out afterwards as a reminder and refresher.
The club were pleased with the package. The follow up items and wall cartoons have been displayed as gentle reminders to all.

"Roger's presentation went down really well at Macclesfield Golf Club's Annual Junior Presentation and rounded of a very successful season for us.
The books have been awarded as prizes for the winner of each round of the Junior Winter League and the posters will be put up in the clubhouse for all to see."
